Melisser Elliott – Book Signing in Boston Nov. 17, 2010

Melisser Elliott, of The Vegan Girl’s Guide To Life fame and other splendid endeavours, will be settling down for an evening in Boston this Fall as part of her book signing tour!  You can expect her on November 17th, at our one and only gourmet pizza place, Peace o’ Pie in Allston, MA from 7pm – 9pm. (For a complete tour listing, visit her website.)

Enjoy some pizza, chat with members of the Boston Vegan Association, and purchase a copy of her book!

Melisser Elliott is the author behind blogs The Urban Housewife and Cruelty Free Face, as well as the founder of Sugar Beat Sweets bakery in San Francisco. She has won awards from VegNews magazine; has been featured by BUST, the Washington Post, Craft, Make, Cupcakes Take the Cake, All Things Cupcake, SuperVegan, Crazy Sexy Life, and Vegan Nutritionista; and has appeared on Everyday Dish TV.

The Vegan Girl’s Guide To Life is a helpful addition to your library – a comprehensive cookbook, resource manual, crafting guide, and more, highlighting small business owners’ stories, as well as Melisser’s own vegan adventure. This isn’t your typical subcultural and hip vegan piece. It is more friendly, personal, and genuine. I know I don’t go to just one friend to ask advice on baking, crafting, or anything for that matter. For a more in-depth review, I will be posting a link here soon.

*Melisser is currently not taking book orders through her site, but you can check it out at Amazon.
